Paranormal City Events Presents:-
Stirling Old Jail Friday, 4th November 2022, from 9:00pm till 2:30am
Sirling Old Jail

Ghost Hunt with Paranormal City Events at one of Scotland's most unforgiving Victorian prisons. The Old Town Jail Opened in 1847 to replace Stirling's Tolbooth Gaol said to be the worst jail in Britain. Life at the Jail was horrific, brutal and very isolating for the inmates who found themselves spending time here.
Many inmates spent time in the solitary confinement and spend hours working the "crank machine" a task of lifting and dropping sand for no purpose other than torture and punishment. By 1888, the County jail became the Military Detention barracks for the Scottish Regiment, until decommissioned by the War Office in 1935.
During the mid-20th Century, the jail fell into disrepair until the 1990's when restoration work was carried out on this derelict site.
Dark Shadows, children crying, poltergeist activity along with some visitors being touched.
During the evening you will take part in various methods of Ghost Hunting to include Ouija boards, table tipping, glass divination, séance and modern techniques with modern equipment. The ticket price includes refreshments of tea/coffee and water, crisp and biscuits. Wear warm layered clothing, as it gets cold throughout the night and wear appropriate footwear.
